Technology and Innovation is one of the themes in AP World History. Technology refers to physical tools that help humans achieve goals or complete tasks. Innovation refers to new discoveries and improving on old processes.
SPICE-T is an acronym that helps AP World History students remember the course themes. Each letter stands for a different area of study: Social Interaction, Political Organization (Governance), Interaction (with the Environment), Cultural Developments, Economic Systems, and Technology.
There are four types of questions on the AP World History exam. They are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Short Answer Questions (SAQs), Long Essay Questions (LEQs), and Document Based Questions (DBQs).
