Anki is a free, flashcard system that uses science-backed principles like interleaving, spaced review, and active recall.  It has long been beloved by med school students, and I think it's high time to bring it to AP students.

Below, you can find two Anki decks I made for AP World History.  They are actively maintained and revised to match the AP World History Course and Exam Description.  I've also included links to relevant resources so that you can make the most of this powerful tool.

This deck features key terms, people, and events.  Each term is carefully selected for relevancy to AP World History students.  The deck also contains filters to help tailor your review.  Sort by unit, theme, region, and concept.

You'll need to download the Anki software to use this flashcard deck.  It's totally free, open source, and works on all major desktop and mobile platforms.

Many students struggle with academic vocabulary.  These are words used in academic settings (like textbooks and primary sources), but not used in daily speech.  Each word in this deck appeared on a previous AP US History or AP World History exam.
