Tutoring Terms and Conditions
"You" means the student and their parents or guardians. "We" and "us" refer to Spring Learning Services, LLC.
FEES
Most lessons have a predetermined fee and length that is determined when you schedule. If you would like to extend the session, we will bill you in fifteen-minute increments. If both parties agree not to determine the length of the session in advance, we will bill in fifteen minute increments.
The session fee only covers time spent in the lesson. If you want more help, please ask! We will consider your request and get back to you within two business days. We may charge a fee for extra services. If we assess a fee, we will notify you before we start working on your request.
We offer a limited money-back guarantee. If you are unhappy with your last session, let us know within ten days of that session. We will refund your last session, no questions asked.
We meet with students a maximum of two times per week. For safety reasons, an adult should be home during sessions.
We cannot promise specific grades or exam scores.
CANCELLATIONS, NO-SHOWS, AND HOLIDAYS
Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel your session. If you send notice of a cancellation within 12-24 hours of the lesson, we will charge half of the session fee. If you send notice within 12 hours of the session, we will charge the full session fee.
We offer tutoring on all federally observed holidays and during extended school breaks. We expect that you will notify us if you wish to cancel a session because of a holiday.
We appreciate notice if you will be late or need to leave early. We apply the standard cancellation fees to any missed time. For example, lets say you must leave 30 minutes early and you let us know 13 hours in advance. We would charge half of the session fee for those 30 minutes. (Put another way, we would charge for 15 minutes of time.)
We wait in Zoom for 10 minutes at the start of the lesson. If you don't arrive in that time, the lesson in cancelled. The standard cancellation fee will be applied.
We may stop service if you frequently cancel, even if you cancel with enough notice to avoid fees. We may also stop service if you are frequently late or leave early.
In rare situations, we may be late or need to end early. In this instance, we will agree on a solution. This may be extending a session, adding time to an upcoming session, or prorating the session fee.
PRIVACY
We may collect information from you, like the email and phone number you provided at sign up. We use this information to improve your experience and communicate with you.
We do not record lessons as a default. If you would like a recording, please let us know.

CHANGES
We may need to change these policies. If we need to make changes, we will let you know in writing at least seven days before they take effect.
